I am writing to you personally with a second and very important update regarding our forum.
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for the situation we are facing. I honestly never wanted things to happen this way, and I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.
Unfortunately, because ActiveBoard was no longer receiving my monthly payments for the maintenance of the original forum, they eventually closed the entire site. This meant that our old forum at:
I tried to find a way to restore everything, but unfortunately, the only realistic solution was to start again from scratch and create a completely new forum.
I know that having to start again is frustrating, especially after everything we have built together over the years. Believe me, I regret this situation enormously. If there had been another way to save the original forum without starting over, I would have taken it.
Unfortunately, in order to get the new forum up and running and keep it active, I now have no choice but to ask each member who wishes to continue with us to contribute €25 (or 30 USD) per month for a new membership.
This contribution will give you access to the new forum and all of its sections.
I realize that this is an additional expense, and I am genuinely sorry that I have to ask you for it. This is absolutely not how I wanted our new beginning to happen. I hope you can understand that this is not a decision I have taken lightly, but rather the only way I currently have to rebuild and maintain the forum.
When making your PayPal payment, please enter ONLY the username you used to register on the new forum in the payment message/note.
This is very important, as it will allow me to identify your payment and activate your membership correctly.
